    Seizures were causing significant memory loss for me - both short and long term (last few years). I've now been taking just 250 mg, 3 x daily for the last 9 months. Now, no more seizures and no more memory loss! I'm 69 years old, working full time in a stressful, demanding job and doing very well.     I've been taking this for 5 years at 1.5 grams a day; no more hallucinations or any other symptoms of my partial seizures, unless provoked by high spiking fevers (my largest trigger). My only "side effect" was getting back my thirst-indicator (before I only had one for thirst and hunger). It's not even in the giant side effect list; that being said, I've never had any of t ...     This is an important alert! Do not stop this drug without first talking to your doctor. My mother decided to stop taking Keppra without telling anyone, because of having severe headaches. Within a week she was a completely different person with smptoms of hallucinations, delusions, paranoia, anger, and anxiety.
