I have used Xulane for many years and before that Ortho Evra. I don’t why all of a sudden on a refill, I was given Zafemy. I hate it. First of all, the patch is flimsy and comes off in the shower. And worst of all, if I am slightly late in applying the next patch my body goes into menstruation mode (cramps, body aches and even bloody discharge)!!! That never happened with the other 2 brands. I also got switched to the zafemy patch by my pharmacy with no warning. I HATE IT. I was on Xulane for years with no issues and they would actually stick on you! These stupid thin flimsy patches aren't sticking on me more than 2 days. They slide right off in the shower. I dont feel protected at all. My insurance switched me from Zulane patch to Zafemy and that was the biggest mistake ever! I will not stick. I'm on my 2nd box and this has been a nightmare. I have reported it to Zafemy and expressed my dissatisfaction and I've notified the insurance company to see what can be done in order to get back on the Zulane. 2 thumbs down for Zafemy.

once i started using zafemy instead of xulane i have had my period for 3 weeks. i never had a problem with any type of bleeding on xulane. also, the adhesive on the material is awful. it comes off so easy and is super flemsy. i really liked the xulane patch, but now i am considering a new birth control

it’s not the same as xulane at well. way flimsier. if you are not careful when applying, it will collapse upon itself. it is not right how our pharmacies changed our prescription with no warning. I was on xulane for a long time and had no complaints.
