I take 500mg per day. 300 at bedtime, and 200 in the morning. This completely eradicates pain, burning and numbness in my neck, shoulder, arm and hand. My hand was numb in a "gloving" effect (yuck). The symptoms are from herniated discs between c-5 and c-1. Opiates were not helpful at all. As a welcome side-effect, my migraines are gone as well.
