I was on this drug for 2.5 years. My prescribed dosage was 7.5mg once daily. The drug worked really well, until the side effects became more relevant (Angina, internal bleeding, stomach ulcers, depression, dizziness, hair loss). I had been taking Mobic daily too but have recently stopped because of warnings about even limited use of NSAIDs. Mobic had really help ease the pain and swelling in my finger joints, but arnica gel and infra-red gloves are helping just as well.
