I have been on infusion Nafcillin treatment for 5 weeks. The 4th week my taste started diminishing. Currently everthing I eat taste terrible especially after chewing for a few seconds. I've had diarrhea the entire 5 weeks. Taking Imodium 4 times a day just slows down occurances.

I lost much of my sense of taste during the prolonged process of wearing an injection pump feeding a pik line 24/7 for 5 weeks. I developed a troubling itching condition on my legs, arms, back and a few smaller areas. The skin eventually flaked off when the treatment stopped. Exacerbation of seizure disorder. Persistant diarrhea and vomiting. Weight loss. Dehydration.
