It works! It does a good job as a decongestant which was the base cause of many of my other symptoms; runny nose, sore throat, cough. It causes some drowsiness. I like that it contains aspirin rather than aceteminophen which I believe can be harsher on the liver. I had this cold for 3 days before I took medication and had weirder dreams those nights than when I took this medication.

My cold symptoms were greatly relieved, however I do nothing but sleep while on this medication. My last dose was over 12 hours ago, and I still have "medicine head". I can't seem to come out of the fog that I am in.

Makes life a lot easier with a cold. It can cause drowsiness because it has an antihistamine, but the drowsiness isn't as strong as that experienced with Nyquil (which has the same exact active ingredients as Alka Seltzer Plus PM). Then again, drugs have different effects on different people.
