    i am currently a 13 year old in grade nine. Agreeing to take this drug was by far the worst decision of my life. The first week or two were fine, all it did was increase my grades. however the problems started to increase fast.     My doctor prescribed me this along with zoloft for my anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Not only is it not effective enough for me, it made the anxiety and depression worse and for a while i just thought it was me and not my medications so my zoloft was made stronger but recently i have looked more into my medications and clear as day it has said that concerta should not be used by patients with anxi ...     This medication actually calms me down more than it helps focus, but it definetely makes me feel calmer and has not caused any problems so far. It DOES stop being as effective after a few years but otherwise its perfect!

    I was diagnosed 4 months ago at 40 years old with severe ADHD. The diagnosis explained pretty much my entire life. I began taking 18 mg of Concerta and found that it wore off after about 8 hours. I was upped to 36 mg with the exact same effect. When it wore off my head turned into a war zone. I was raised to 54 mg.
