I am taking Nexium b/c it's cheaper than Aciphex. Both work fine for me. I can have citrus fruit again, but I still can't go near garlic.

I have taken Nexium for over a year now. 80mg per day and it has really helped. Tried other products but none were as effective at controlling my acid reflux.

I think Nexium actually worsened my condition. I felt like my heartburn was occuring in a more widespread area than it was before taking it. It would last for hours and occur while I was still eating.
