    My MD's office often prescribes Z pack, and while the medication may be effective, I won't take it again. I learned that one of the side effects is thrush, but after I'd taken it recently, and ended up with another episode of oral thrush. If you are prone to yeast infections, you might to request another antibiotic. I've been treated for oral thrush 5 times over the past 3 years, ... Show Full Comment

    I was prescribed this medication last year for an ear infection after the previous doctor I had seen prescribed me a cross-over drug to the penicillin family which I am allergic and so I had an allergic reaction... So when I went back and saw a different doctor and we both decided Z-pak was a good option since I had already been through so much trouble with the others. Bad choice within 1 hr o ...     This drug is a,azing! I had a severe sinus infections and ear infection and this cleared them both up in no time!

    I love this medication, the first sign of a sore throat, I call my doctor and he calls in a Z-Pack for me, whitin days I feel so much better, I hav ebeen using these for several years and there awesome, in fact, my husband felt a sore throat coming on last night and called our dr, he called in a z-pack for him, he picked it up on his way home from work, took the first 2 pills and feels much better ...
