Increased ability to think clearer, along with mental alertness, and I follow, listen, and comprehend conversations better. At first I was skeptical having tried Aricept, from 5 mg to 10 mg I had an adverse reaction. From day one the Galantamine was started at 8 mg and increased to 16. Brought back her remembering dates, names. Able to read books again. Definitely improved memory right away. 8 months in and she may need to up the dosage, but taking 2 pills brings on bad nightmares. I am very grateful for the pill.
