One of the few drugs that work. Now my insurance won't pay for it. I was prescribed Lotronex and wound up in Hospital for severe blockage in my intestines.Only to find out later that it was recalled, and that people died from it.Why is this so expensive and why doctors won't prescribe and insurance won't pay for it. When it is proven to work for people. Some of these new drugs are dang ... Show Full Comment

When the company jacked the price times X7 I switched to a combination of chlordiazapoxide and dicyclmine. Works great. I think it might be a generic librex.

I have taken this prescribed med for over 40 yrs and have had no problem until recently when reaching Medicare which will not cover this prescription. I too am astounded at price increases since I have to pay full price. Some drugs stores simply say the drug is no longer available in US. Is there any alternatives available.

Worked fine for many years. New MD reluctant to prescribe. Would like to find a "non-controlled substance" as a replacement. Not having much luck. Ins. Co. won't pay. Best info ever, show your AAA card. They give a great discount at most pharmacies. Insist; some don't know

I've had IBS since I was in high school and have been on a number of different medications. This works as well as anything I've tried so far. Previous meds caused more drowsiness, dry mouth, blurred vision and other side effects while needing to be taken more frequently. I started out taking this only when I had an episode of abdominal cramps. It would stop the cramps, but it would take a ... Show Full Comment
