Cogentin in a IV was used for my migraine headache,instead of using narcotics to get rid of it they used this medicine. My headache was relieved in a half hour.All hospitals here are trying to stay away of narcotics because of the addictions it causes.We were told by the nurse that it was like a muscle relaxant to get rid of all the tension in your body.
