Todau was my first day taking it, I now have a HORRIBLE Headache and feel like vomiting. I hope this is not going to happen everytime I take it.

I was diagnosed with collagenous colitis 2 years ago & could not tolerate the 5 ASA's. My new gastroenterologist suggested cholestyramine, 9 grams twice a day, & it began working immediately, even though it can take 1 -2 weeks to work. Works--just experiement with the dose. Start simple. One pack in the morning See how it goes. If not good results add another pack at dinner. If too much, maybe half pack at dinner. Mix with 4 oz of some kind of liquid. Yes, side efects-regulate this if you can by doseage.
