I had to have 13 I.V.'s in one week because my veins were too senstive to the medication. The ancef inj burned fiercly everytime I took it and I contacted the doctor every time. I was told that it was all normal aside from the several side effects I was having as well.

i am on ancef for a staph infection in my knee cap. so far it seems to be working. they have a pic line in so that makes it easy. don't understand whether i can have any alcohol with this drug. no one said anything.

was given before my c section, Had an allergic reaction( felt prickling in my mouth and face, broke out in hives/rash and eye lids swelled up, shallow breathing, felt weird in my throat)
