for something thing that is supposed to "empty you" I would have been just as far ahead to take imodium to be honest. over 2 litres drunk and two days later no movement of any kind and a sever burning in my throat from the stuff. never again.

GREAT for cleaning out the intestinal tract for sure! Chills....put on more clothes...its beacuse of drinking so much cold liquid...that goes away soon after last glass was drank..cant wait till colonospoy done tomorrow...IM STARVING!!!!! grin

I had a colonoscopy on friday and drank the golytely the day before. It was a 4L jug and I was directed to drink 8 ounces every ten minutes. First thing I did was wake up early , mix it and put it in the fridge. They are right that it tastes better cold. I had it in there for over 8 hours. I found it very difficult to drink so much liquid. It was not so much painful as extremely unpleasant, but at the last couple of glasses I was vomiting up bile. Frankly, I remember this as a horrible experience.

I developed a severe headache within two hours of starting this drug. It was not a migraine or due to dehydration. I kept myself hydrated knowing it was imperative to do so. In addition, I began having muscle spasms in my legs, back and neck. I also had severe dizziness. The headache lasted for two days after my procedure and the pain was a 9 on a scale of one to 10.
