I went to the Urologist about BPH symptoms that were becoming bothersome-weak stream, incomplete bladder emptying, urgency, etc. I had a coupon for a free 30 day trial of CIALIS for daily use which I got filled and worked wonderfully for the BPH and ED, but the cost for refills of the drug was prohibitive as Catlyst RX didn't have that on their preferred drug list. I then got a Rx of what the Dr. wanted to prescribe in the first place-generic FLOMAX. First time I got the pills and the first refill the pills I received were grey and orange capsules with 2 black circumferential stripes and an identifier TSLO.4 and with these the worst side effects were some lightheadedness when standing from a kneeling position and some dry mouth. The medicine did give some relief of the BPH symptoms. The next refill I got was by a different manufacturer-a dark blue capsule with an identifier MYLAN 2500. This medicine was not as effective as that from the previous manufacturer and the side effects were worse than the condition it meant to treat. Lightheadedness was increased, still had dry mouth, mucus was thicker than jelly in the nasal passages and chest, loss of feeling during sex with the outcome being the inability to orgasm. I stopped taking the pills and the Pharmacist will tell me when they get something other than the MYLAN so I can try the drug again. I will advise the outcome of taking the non-MYLAN pills as I am not sure whether what happened was solely the fault of the MYLAN formulation or whether there was a buildup of the medicine in the body over the 10 week period

At the generic price of $204./30 days, the cost of the ingredient is.... $17.50 /mg $17500.00/gram $7,936,250.00/lb, yes folks almost 8 million dollars for a pound. For that you could get 413.35 lbs of gold Illicit drug dealers are selling the wrong stuff on the street, a kilo of this goes for $17,500,000., yes 17 ... Show Full Comment

I noticed relief with increased urine flow after a few days of use. After about two weeks I was back to the reduced flow before treatment. Now, after 4 weeks, my flow is worse than it was before I started treatment.
