My doctor gave me this med for arthritis in my back and knees. It really helps! I am prescribed 2 tablets a day, but after a few weeks I experienced severe acid reflux. I cut back to once a day, now I take one every other day. It is still better that not taking it! I am really stiff and in pain when I don't take it at all. I'm able to exercise and have some flexibility.

Works great but over time I break out in mouth ulcers and have to stop. I've taken it on and off over the years and the sores happen after I've been on it longer (such as 10 days or so). I always take it with food. When I only need it a few days it's awesome.

This dug took the pain in my knee away within a few days. The side effects crept up over 3 months. Stomach pain, bloating, sleeplessness, tired, possible liver damage, loss of appetite to name just a few. Side effects far out weigh any benefit.
