Since having my son 4 years ago will say that I have gotten BV over a dozen times. It is the most awful odor ever. Also the discharge is heavy and annoying. I usually take the Antibiotics which is a 10 day treatment twice a day which is followed usually by a yeast infection. I was skeptical about using this gel because I have to insert the medicine using an applicator. I am not to fond of insertin

I have an overgrowth of gardnerella so my dr prescribed this medication to use for 5 nights. The only side effect I had was diarrhea on day 4. However, this drug didn't do anything for me at all and we're not sure why.

I'm so glad I found these reviews. I can't say or not if this has cleared up my BV or not, but the side effects are horrible. I am getting severe stomach cramps (feels like someone punched me in the stomach), nausea, decreased appetite, mild dry mouth, some weird discharge, and fatigue. I thought this would only be side effects of the oral drug, but apparently after reading some reviews on
