I've been taking this medication for about a year and it's been very effective for me. It helps me feel more steady and stable, and avoid the constant highs and lows of bipolar. My doctor upped my dose when I began a severe bout of sleepwalking after coming off a strong sleep med. After increasing lamotrigine I stopped sleepwalking. My experience with the med has been nothing but good.

I have taken this medication for over 7 years now and have found it to be very effective in treating my bipolar II. I have not had any side effects (which is odd since with most meds that I have tried over the years nausea and stomach issues are usually the side effect that i get the most frequently). When my Doctor and I finally came up with the medicine combo that worked for me I had been in

I started this med almost 2 weeks ago for Bipolar II. Seemed to be working even at the starter dose. Then boom! Hives and severe itching. My Doctor told me to stop the drug if I had any skin reaction. So now I stopped it and I have crashed! See the Doctor next week on to the next drug.
