I find the way the dispenser has been designed is totally ludicrous! Luckily I have to use this as perianal application, which means i only have to dab it on a piece of tissue and apply it to the affected area. If I had to administer this into my anus, there is no way i could have done it. Since, not once have i been able to get any foam into the applicator!! It just squeezes out of the canister w ... I went to the ER and they gave me nothing. I went to my doctor and he is referring me to a surgeon, I have been in unbelievable pain. Getting this from the ER would have saved me for the 3 days I had to wait to see my doctor.

Found it is very important to wash all the parts to this medicine or the medicine will come out under the tip and waste. Had bleeding for over a month using it 2 times daily. Went up to 3x daily and it stopped the bleeding in 1 day.

If you have hemroids don't bother with Preparation H. I have found nothing over-the-counter that works. Proctofoam HC shrinks/heals hemroids if used properly. It is, however OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE. I cannot imagine why one little cortesone foam dispenser should cost $75-$100 or more.
