Using for radiation proctitis. Do not understand all reviews complaining applicator does not work. It isn't rocket science if you use as instructed, with very little leakage. Expensive, and my Medicare Part D does not cover after 30 days. Number of doses does seem to be somewhat less than prescribed doses (3 x 14 days prescribed).

Foam doesn't flow into applicator. Just seeps under cap. Over $80 for this little canister. Hopefully, I can return to pharmacist.

Page will not allow 1 star, only allows 3 stars and up, with that said...oh give this products 1 star in every area xxxxxx 3 refills because medication gets wasted as it does not go into applicator....but definitely seeps out side of canister. $166.00 x 3 and what a waste of money. Would probably be a great drug if product didn't waste out sides. Called manufacturer, called pharmacy...it's ... Show Full Comment

I live in P.R. this medication is over 130.00 not covered under my insurance. I went to a pharmacy who told me to buy Gold bond anti itch cream that contains the same pramoxine and to buy hydrocortisone cream the same as Proctofoam hc , she sold me a small syringe and told me to use 1cc of each 3 or 4 times a day so that is what i am going to go get at this very moment. Thanks I hope this helps ... Show Full Comment

Used for a few days and did relieve discomfort for hemorrhoids with occasional bleeding, but not really to any greater degree than over-the-counter remedies. It is wildly expensive, even after insurance and got only 12 applications out of a 10g applicator. It seemed it was "half dead" before the first use. Unless the doctor specifies I continue using, forget it.
