I have use Biaxin several times over the years to treat acute sinus infection and bronchitis. I have always been satisfied with it's results. YES, it does have afew unpleasant side effects, however I feel the results are worth a metallic taste in my mouth.

If you don't have a strong constitution, do not take this drug. You will find the majority of other peoples comments are negative. I had eaten as directed before taking the pills for the first time. Shortly after I experienced chills, a headache, uncontrolable shaking and stomach pain. I then threw up for over an hour. I hadn't thrown up in 30 years prior to this episode. If I had research

About 1/2 hour after taking my first pill, my stomach started to gurgle...Then after 5 1/2 hours of vomiting AND diarrea, complete dehydration, I had to go to the hospital. 24 hours later my stomach is still in knots and I'm drinking pepto-bismol just to eat dry cereal. Never again.
