    I was prescribed this med because I had a sinus infection that lasted 2 months. Usually I can kick a cold without medication prett quick But I finally threw in the towel. After the first dose my mouth dried out and it tasted like I had been chewing on the pill. In the middle of the night I would either wake up from night terrors or that taste in my mouth.     I was on the meds for 4 days for a bad cough. I still have the cough. The meds were very hard on my body. Vaginal rawness, constipation, then hemorrhoids. I've been suffering from the meds for weeks now. I wish I hadn't taken them.

    Prescribed 500mg twice daily for seven days. Flu symptoms improved, only min or chest infection evident. However, side effects unpleasant; constant bitter taste; ulceration of gums; most worryingly ringing in ears consistent with tinnitus (listed as rare side effect - less severe).
