My 3yr old has suffered from ear infections since he was a baby and is in his 4th set of tubes. His doctor tried this medication because it is stronger, however he broke out in a horrible rash and cant stop itching. He is also unable to take penicillins.

My son took this medication for an ear infection. It seemed to make his ears better but he decreased his apetite for baby food all together. The taste is horrendous even covered covered up with the flavoring we took it back for. My son has chronic ear infections and this medicine seemed to be the only one to kick them however it started a loop-hole of other issues.

My 10 month old was prescribed this med for an ear infection after a horrible reaction to Omnicef (cefdnir). She has had zero reactions, complications, or side effects from this drug. Because it is taken twice a day the chance for upset stomach is unlikely.
