Long term use has caused lung problems..Started with dry cough, low grade fever, and shortness of breath! Hospitalized & took two days to diagnose correctly, now looks to be about 2 weeks before oxygen levels will stabilize...

Was given this drug to prevent urunary tract infection after a cystoscopy. Was effective in reducing chills/fever, but left me with a rash on face and feeling of general tiredness - still persists 3 days after stopping the drug. (took 4/day for 3 daysZ)

I contacted my physician after having a bout with the flu symptom. My Physician recommended this medication along with other amoxicillin which I was already taking. I felt immediate relief from I took the first capsule and a chronic back ache dissapeared also. The only side effect was a lot of sweating at bed time and a slight head ache.
