    The nicotine burnt the back of my mouth, but it worked wonderfully. The want is still there and will be for a while. It's been just over 2 weeks but it just will take some time and will power to do this. I know I can for my health.

    I used the Nicotrol Inhaler in early 1999 to assist with my effort to quit smoking. I only had to use one full Rx of 42 pellets and half of a 2nd Rx, and I haven't had even one cigarette in over 10 years now, after 47 years of smoking. I developed moderate COPD in the past decade from my past smoking, but I'm certain the Nicotrol Inhaler has added years to my life, and the quality of my ... Show Full Comment

    It only took me 2 months to quit, although I sucked on empty plastic stubs for another month or so. After 22 smoke-free months, I absently "bummed" a cigarette while at a casino (Sin City, indeed!). Smoked for about a year. Started back on the medicated inhaler about a week ago and expect to be successful - and more careful in the future!

    im still addicted to nicotine,after 5 yrs.how can i decrease my cravings for nicotine.im afraid if i go off this drug ill want to start smoking again.
