I drank the lemon-flavored magnesium citrate in preparation for my first colonoscopy, in conjunction with Dulcolax tablets. Despite the fact that I love citrus-flavored things, it was an extreme taste and took me awhile to down the 10 oz. bottle. My son is 13 and his doctor wanted to rule out any obstruction in his bowel, so prescribed this. We bought the cherry flavored 10 oz bottle at Walgreen's.
