I AM A 32 YEAR OLD FEMALE WITH BI POLAR DISORDER AND HAVE BEEN TAKEN HALDOL FOR ABOUT A MONTH NOW. THIS MEDICATION IS THE ANSWER TO MY PRAYERS. I TAKE 7.5 MG AT BEDTIME. THE ONLY NEGATIVE I CAN SAY IS I HAVE A LITTLE JITTERS. I'VE NEVER HAD SO MUCH ENERGY IN MY LIFE!!!!

The only things that concern me are weight gain and increased glucose levels. I ate some junk food last night and my glucose level was much higher than normal, I wasn't told that this was a possible side affect. Plus I don't know if it causes weight gain or not, I told my psychatrist that I won't take anything for my BiPolar Disorder if it cause weight gain. So I'm hoping that this
