swelling in feet and pain in hands has gone down dramatically. still have slight pain in thumbs on occasion and sore feet when weather is cold/damp or if i walk too long.

I was given plaquenil when I was first told I had RA and altho I took it for about 2 to 3 months before I noticed any pain relief, I stayed on it ( 1 tablet daily). I then stopped taking it even tho I felt much better, because my white blood cell count was dropping, which I discovered is a rare side effect of taking Plaquenil.
