    I've been on this for 10 years and it's been really effective for me. I didn't have side effects at all with this. I get my eyes examined every year and no problems. This medication has made me feel like I don't have arthritis. But, about a year ago, I started having flare ups. The joint pain has been really bad at times.     This immediately helps alleviate finger joint discomfort & reduces the occurrence of polymorphic light eruption (PLE) bumps. I do not have itching with PLE & have not yet had my eyes tested so I cannot comment on those two items. I'm glad I decided to try it out.     On this medication for 2 years now. Took at least 6 months before I noticed any difference. Could not be out in sun for more than 10 minutes as I developed a sun sensitivity even with 3 coats of 60 SPF sunscreen on! No noticeable rash on my face but more of an interior burn, very uncomfortable and painful but in the last few months this has gone away and my Rheumatologist has no idea why. I' ...     Horrible side effects started within a week - crippling back Bain and then leg pain. I was only starting with 200mg as well
