I love rich, thick, creamy yogurt. I eat it for lunch daily. After getting super bloated and gassy afterwards, I started taking a few different things. Yogurt is pretty much the only dairy I eat, so I thought maybe I was lactose intolerant. Day one, I got great results. No gas, or bloating. After that, nothing. It didn't take long to figure out that taking this caused me to be constipated. ... Show Full Comment

Have been using these pills for years without any issues. Normally take 3 to 4 before any meal which contains milk or milk ingredients. Have experienced no side effects. If people have difficulty swallowing pills they should crush them into a powder and take it with water.

I'm surprised at the negative reviews. I started taking this instead of Lactaid and LOVE it. Just 1 pill a day and you don't have to remember to take something before eating any dairy. It's not a complete silver bullet - things like ice cream will still bother me but not nearly as bad as before.

I started taking this medication last week and have had diarrhea and nausea ever since. Thought I had the stomach flu until I read the other reviews and discontinued use.
