Was put on this for suspected bacterial double pink eye. I took my last one this morning (twice a day for 10 days). I had severe chest congestion and sinus infection, was prescribed Cefdinir, I took it as instructed, but once I started itching I stopped. It has been 2 weeks and I'm still itching like crazy. from my head to the bottoms of my feet, once scratched it gets red and hot and itches even more. I will never take this drug again.

My husband was in the hospital for 3 days with pneumonia in both lungs due to an infectious organism. After being treated with IV antibiotics for the 3 days, he was doing well and both lungs were clear. On the third day, he was released with a prescription for cefdinir 300 mg twice daily for 9 days. I HAD UPPER REST. INFECTION. dr. Gave me this antibiotic. Sick to stomach, dizzy,couldnt sleep, salty taste in mouth , did not work .was on it for 7 days. Still sick.
