I am taking Cefdinir oral for a cough and chest congestion. Have been on this drug for 7 days and feel awful. Stomach upset, salty taste in my mouth, dehydrated, weak, and dizzy. I couldn't figure out why I was feeling so bad until I read these reviews. I am not taking anymore of this stuff.

I would give zero stars if it were possible. I wholeheartedly agree with the others that this drug is dangerous & should be very, very carefully prescribed. C-diff as a potential side effect? In retrospect, she should've opted for something far less "aggressive". After just TWO of these pills, taken 12 hrs apart with food as prescribed, I felt MUCH MUCH WORSE than I ever did from the sinus infection: acute nausea, throbbing headache, dizziness, disorientation, unable to focus, bloating, darkened urine & feeling flushed. THANK HEAVENS I came to WebMD & read through these reviews, which confirmed my inclination to STOP taking this frightening concoction immediately!! Even now, 16hrs after taking the 2nd pill, my GI system is way off-kilter & I'm still severely bloated. I cannot even begin to imagine how much worse I'd be feeling if I'd have continued taking this. A trip to the ER is not out of the realm of possibilities. Truly frightening. My dr. has called in a new Rx for Bactrim, which I've taken before without issue. Please everyone, you must do your own research and advocate for yourself when you feel that something is not right. It's your body, and you know it better than any dr. ever could!

I began taking 300mg twice daily six days ago. I have suffered itching from my scalp to my legs, and I am extremely dizzy. My mind is foggy (though I cannot blame that entirely on this med). My sinus infection has not improved at all.

I was allergic to what ever the ingredients were in it and made my face and lips swell.Felt rotten while I was on it Lost my taste.I took it 5 days.Could not take the sides effects.The doctor had prescribed this for a sinus infection.This is a antibotic that should be remove from the market.

I had a sinus infection. Had never took this, and will never again. By day 5 I was afraid I was dying. So nausea and mentally foggy and dizzy,I could barely function. I did not realize I hadn't taken my heart meds or anything of my other meds. By the second day after I stopped I was feeling better, but I still don't feel 100%, and this is day 9.
