I'm on day 4 of this medicine. Like others, I too am experiencing the metallic taste in my mouth, but no headaches or other pains. Taking Immodium has helped me tremendously with the cramping. I also find it easier to take this medicine on an empty stomach as another reviewer suggested. I wait at least 2 hours to eat after taking the medicine which has helped ease some of the side effects.

I've been on the prevpac for 6 days and while I think the meds are working the side effects are awful. Worst taste in my mouth...ever! Nothing gets rid of it. I also have been feeling pretty nauseous and running to the bathroom nonstop. I have no appetite. If the meds work then great it was worth it.

I been having on and of sweat during the day after medication. It's still very hard for me until I finish the medicine. I would like to hear from others whether what I'm experiencing is a side effect or if everyone that take Prepack has the same symptom. Please respond Thank You!

This Prevpac is way overpriced...all that comes in the kit is a 2-week, twice daily pre-packaged supply of Prevacid 30mg, Biaxin (clarithromycin) 500mg, and Amoxicillin 500mg. Yet even with my good Blue Cross insurance, my copay was $140!!! Unbelievable, I will never get this RX again, there is no way that buying individually would cost me $140! RIDICULOUS!
