This was prescribed when I had rotator cuff surgery in Sept 2009. In January 2010 I noticed tremendous bruising all over my body. I was diagnosed with ITP where the spleen starts destroying the blood platelets. In looking at the side affects of this drug and it's various effects on the blood system, I believe this was the cause of this problem which was treated with steroids with no cure so
