    I started taking this drug about 2 years ago started getting cramps and leg pains in both legs about a month ago I started looking at side effects these problems are all side effects of this drug I stopped taking medicine and called my dr he told me to stop taking it .i have my physical in 2 weeks he will prescribe something else let's see if I get better

    ive been taking zocor for over 7 years, it works great. no side effects. just one pill a day i take it before bed.

    I have been on Zocor for several years. During this time I have had brain fog, severe muscle aches, and serious join pain in my knees, shoulders and elbows. Noticing hair loss after showering, numbness in my hands and feet during the night and especially when I would wake up in the morning. And high increase in sugar craving.     My doctor gave me simvistatin for mildly high cholesterol though my ratios are within a good range. I have had mental fatigue and worsening leg pain while on this for nearly two years. My husband convinced me to try stopping to see if I improved and what a difference it has made! My mental clarity improved and the leg pains eased slightly.
