I have been prescribed many medications for treating the symptoms of my migraine attacks over the years. I have been wrestling with 'classic'-type migraine (with visual aura) for about a decade now. Unfortunately, they are now occurring much more frequently than when I was first diagnosed. I have been on Relpax since it's inception, I believe, and it's been great for me. However, ... Show Full Comment

I've been having migraines since I was 13 years old. Usually a good dose of Axert at early onset will make them go away. However, I recently had one that lasted a little over a week. I was admitted to the hospital and administered DHE through an I.V. every eight hours for 3 days. Although it cured my migraine, it had some serious drawbacks for me. If the nurses pushed the medicine too fas ... Show Full Comment

Have had severe migraines for 18 years and was in ER regularly. Finally found my way to a doctor who started my on DHE and I haven't been in ER for migraine since. Along with preventative meds and DHE, my doctor brought me from having half-a-dozen good days a month to having only half-a-dozen migraines a month. Though it's inconvenient to use at earliest symptom in some situations and I& ... Show Full Comment

After 4 neurologist and 30 years of suffering with migraines one Dr. taught me how to inject myself with this drug. In the 14 years that I have been using it, it has never failed to relieve my headaches within a couple of hours, depending on severity. I had tried every other drug on the market up to that time, unsuccessfully. I even became dependent on opiates. I have been clean for 4 years and ... Show Full Comment
