    My dr put me on Dilaudid 8mg instead of Oxycodone 30mg for breakthrough pain and it works better, lasts longer and I don't get any negative side affects. I have always had a very high tolerance to pain meds even before experiencing chronic pain and having to take meds on a regular basis. Even the at the dentists, I would have to get 4-5 shots of Novacain and it never completely numbed my mouth ... Show Full Comment

    I have had FM for 20 years and my legs don't work most of the time. I use the fentanyl patch with dilaudid for break through pain. I some times get sick from this so i take stuff for that, then there is the constipation I take stuff for that. I have a hard time sleeping, a pill for that.
