I take fentanyl 100mcg./hr.as my extended relief analgesic.I use the hydromorphone 4mg.1 or 2 tablets QID for breakthrough pain.I normally take 2 of the tablets(8mg.)TID and find this dosage to reduce my pain on a 10 point scale down to a 2-2.5.This drug really is great for my pain medication. It never ceases to amaze me for my breakthrough pain relief!

Sensory nerve pain in left pinkie and ring finger. Pain also on left side of left hand with palm down. Sometimes the pain goes up to the elbow but that is as far as it has gone.
