horrible effects of stinging - even thoroughly washing with soap and water doesn't rid you of that and if it gets on your hands and you accidentally touch another spot that burns as well. I got zero pain relief. I threw it away.

Wow, can't believe this is sold and especially over the counter. I applied to my leg and in about 30 seconds I was on fire and I could not wash it off. Thought I was going to have to go to hospital. For hours my leg was on fire and almost unbearable. Of course it does state on the package that if you have burning it should subside in about three days. What a relief!!Would not recommend this p

Of course the arthritis can not be felt, because the chemical burns caused by this product are so horribly painful and long lasting that they overwhelm any arthritis. Cool water? showers? Bacitracin "pain reliever"? They only reactivate the burns caused by this, the ointment from hell. 16 hours of burning, and now I'm going to a doctor but betting there's no antidote. How can

I had radio abalation neck surgery, which only made my neck hurt worse... I tried capzasinHP creme. If I had tried this product before surgery I wouldn't have had the surgery and saved $1000.00 of dollars. The heat for the first month after surgery left me sleeping on ice for 6 weeks. I have used this for arthritic knees that really should be replaced for about a week. For me the benefit was immediate, the burn comes 8-10 hours later. There is definitely a trade off and it is obviously not for everyone - or even most - go carefully! For someone like me it allows me to sleep and get a little exercise with out worrying about NASID's nasty potential long term side effects.
