Have been on SSZ for 5 years now to treat RA in hands. 500 mg 2X/day. It took a few months for RA pain relief to kick-in, but after that the results have been very good, with no side effects and blood work great. Doctor had prescribe methotrexate, but I did not like what I read about it. He agreed to my request to try SSZ instead and I am very happy with results.
