My son uses this medication for anger problems. It works good,But sometimes it gives him hot flashes and headaches.

i have schizoaffective disorder, and found that this drug did work for the most part the side effects were too extreme for me(rigidness, dry mouth and extreme weight gain, about a hundred pounds) i found my symptoms were better controlled with just litium and trazadone.

My elderly mother 89 was diagnosed with Paranoia. She heard voices telling her terrible things. Once place on this medication she rarely hears voices. She does appear to be medicated. She's slowed down quite a bit but has continued her daily functions. It's a relief to know she doesn't hear the bad voices anymore.
