Our 2 1/2 year old was prescribed this for an allergic reaction to something unknown to us this time and got the same reaction as last time when he had an anafulactic reaction to peanut butter and was given this. Very recently diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy (Berger's Disease). Prednisolone (50mg daily) was prescribed (along with blood pressure medications) in an attempt to reduce inflammation of the kidneys by suppressing my immune system somewhat. The dr. prescribed this for my 4 yr. old. I was told he had a sinus infection. He had a bad cough and was wheezing so they gave him a breathing treatment at the drs. office.
