Started taking Lexapro after my quadruple heart bypass operation. Doctors said I might go into Depression after that operation. I feel great now I'm on Lexapro.

I was on 10 mg/day for depression. The drug helped with my depression but I felt that I could not always think straight. I experienced weight gain, a decreased sex drive, and major hot flashes on this medication. I decided to discontinue it and have been experiencing some withdrawal symptoms such as dizziness throughout the day, increased agitation, and others. Overall, I am glad to be off of
