    Started taking Lexapro after my quadruple heart bypass operation. Doctors said I might go into Depression after that operation. I feel great now I'm on Lexapro.

    I have been the happiest for quite a while on this medication. My only concern is that I am trying to get pregnant and fear I may have to stop it.

    I was on 10 mg/day for depression. The drug helped with my depression but I felt that I could not always think straight. I experienced weight gain, a decreased sex drive, and major hot flashes on this medication. I decided to discontinue it and have been experiencing some withdrawal symptoms such as dizziness throughout the day, increased agitation, and others. Overall, I am glad to be off of ...     Too many side effects, didn't treat my symptoms well, caused me to be unable to acheive and orgasm.

    It's difficult to go on like most of the others I've tried. Feel bad for a few days when starting out.
