Like many of you guys I was terrified trying Camila. Most of the reviews were negative so I'm here to ease some of yall worries & say my positive experience with the pill. So I started on camila in October 2019. My doctor recommended using mini pills instead of combination pills because I got awful awful migraines with auras since I was 6 . Ive never taken birth control before, I always used condoms, took plan b's maybe 4 times in my life, I never had any issues with my period, I would get light cramps the first day my period started then have a light period for about 4-5 days, overall I had a simple short easy period. I started camila to use as birth control,not to regulate anything just as a birth control. Ive been on camila for whats about to be 7 months and the only 2 things I can complain about is how sore my breast get 2 days before my period & that my period last a little longer, 7 days instead of 4 days. Other than that, my body has been acting the same, I don't get any side effects, nothing that has made me want to stop using the pill, nothing at all. Always keep in mind that what doesn't work for someone else might work for you & vice versa. I recommend Camila 100%, & you never know if it'll work for you unless you try. Don't be scared, nobody has the same body the same organs the same anything, so yea some reviews are scary but we are all different different. Oh & by the way im not pregnant so its pretty effective, & i'm very satisfied. Im 20 years old, 5ft 2 in & 126lbs just for reference.

My boyfriend and I switch between using condoms and no condoms (mainly no condoms) and it seems to be doing its job correctly! I have been on this medication for 5, almost 6 months. I've only had a slight pimple flare up in the beginning of taking this pill (can barely even see them though) but that went away a few weeks later. The only thing now is I've had some breast tenderness recently ... Show Full Comment

At first I was worried about no longer getting my period but the doctor says it's safe and nothing to worry about,just how my body reacted to the pill. My skin has also stopped flaring up once eating dairy and I barely have any breakouts. Maybe one or two every two week ... Show Full Comment

This birth control is perfect for me. I no longer have my monthly period and the gyno says uterus wall and cells are healthy. At first I was worried about no longer getting my period but the doctor says it's safe and nothing to worry about,just how my body reacted to the pill. My skin has also stopped flaring up once eating dairy and I barely have any breakouts. Maybe one or two every two weeks under my chin that's gone in 2 days. Me and my boyfriend have switch between condom and no condom and we have been successful in not getting pregnant.

Started taking this after giving birth to my baby girl. I was breast feeding so needed one without estrogen. I would spot in between periods and never knew when I was going to get it. My appetite increased and it did not help with acne.

I took this pill because I am breastfeeding-but I had an allergic reaction with a rash covering the majority of my body. I am sure it works for some- but not for me!
