    43 yr old male with low testosterone levels in the upper 100's. Started on Testim 1% for almost 30 days: notice muscle mass, erections in the morning, and noticed getting tired during the day? not sure if this is one of the side effects.     Started Testim 1% gel after a short period of time developed pain in my neck, shoulder, elbow and knee joints also muscle pain in my forearms and calves so severe I had to stop using testim. The pain has not gone away, now I have two problems Low "T" and the pain from the medication. Does anyone have an answer for me?

    Experienced bad headache after first use, plus the smell was terrible! Decided to cut amount of gel to 1/3 the dose and applied it to the bottom of my feet while wearing disposable gloves. Gradually increased the amount every couple days and within two weeks was applying the prescribed amount with no headache or only having the smell bother me when applying.     Increased ability to get into shape. Increased libido for short period until the natural testosterone production gets turned off by the drug replacement testosterone. If you look at the drug company charts, you can expect a testosterone decline after the initial boost. Hate fighting with the tube during sticky application. Hate the smell and smelly shirts.     When I first read these reviews I was nervous but just like everything else it effects everyone different. I am 41 yrs old and have been on this medicine for about 2 months. I was put on this because of a low testosterone count. My levels had adjusted very slightly so far but if you read different articles it is different for everyone.
