Comment:
Originally prescribed a low dose resulted in minimal reductions in BP. Later a higher dose combined with exercise and diet changes have resulted in large and significant lowering of SBP and DBP. Now BP falls within the new AHA normal BP recommendations.

Have had a heart attack and 3 stents in 2013. Corgard 40mg always worked well. The last year, having to take more corgard daily, having heart palpitations, and averaging 150/90. Started on Losartan 25mg and for one whole week, even with caffiene, nictotene, BP taking 3 times a day averages 110/65... Having to stop Corgard this stuff is a MIRACLE!!!

Took Lisinopril for high BP (150-160) but due to foot pain, dry cough and drippy nose, got off. Went on Losartan 50 mg: foot pain gone, still slight dry cough and drippy nose but 120-140/65-77 but sometimes goes lower to 115/60s, got dizzy, dr cut dosage to 25 mg; I dieted and lost 15 lbs, now weigh 150 and BP stays 130-140s and I feel good there so take every other day. Now got shin and calf pain

I'm taking 50 mg Losarten 3 years then he incresed to 100 I took it for 1 week BP came down to normal but the side effects of tiredness and dizzyness were too much. I went back down to the 50mg. Went on KETO diet and exersized, already loosing weight. I also ordered StrictionVP and will try this and ween off the Losarten. Taking this drug is like taking 1 step forward and 2 back!
