I had a gastric bypass about 7 years ago and started to have bile reflux. I was experiencing episodes of 1-2 times a night. Since beginning this medication (1 gm twice a day) I am having no episodes of bile reflux.

I am Bipolar and my doctor prescribed this medication for diarhea. This medication is horrible, it went against all my other medication and I went into a Manic Bipolar Stage. It is terrible what I put my parents and son through. I am 46 years old and would never recommend this to anyone.

I was living large on Immodium and it got to a point where it wasn't working at all and I just would NOT go ANYwhere! This medicine, although I have only been on it about weeks now, has been a miracle!
