Due to bladder cancer, I have a neo bladder which is made from 50cms of small bowel. Eight months post surgery, I had daily diarrea issues. My Gastroenterologist recommended Colestipol and I've been on it twice daily for 30 days and have seen a dramatic improvement. I can go out for extended periods of time again without the need of a close bathroom.

And if I knew I had ... Show Full Comment

I had parts of small and large intestine removed, therefore inhibiting my bile absorbtion. The excess bile in my intestines led to many trips to the bathroom. I started taking Questran, which is a powder and it worked OK once I found the correct dosage. Just started taking Colestipol pills, 2 mgs 2x/day, which is easier to take than powder. Works great, no problems, going out with family and f ... Show Full Comment
