I've been taking ergotamine for 13 years now and have had no adverse reactions, *except* on one occasion after VERY high alcohol consumption followed by 2 ergotamine pills. I had a mini-stroke that lasted about 10-15 seconds where I was totally paralyzed. Quite scary. I usually don't face issues when mixing this drug with alchohol, but that day was a high consumption of both. *To note an

Severe headache and tension on the neck, At first the Doctor gave me Paracetamol but it did not cure and after taking this drug worked almost instantly with one pill only

I have used it off and on for about 40 years. I have type of migraine that first affects the vision. This drug stops the headache if taken at first sign oo the headache starting.
